Come Join Us to Celebrate Christmas at the Clubhouse and Optional Christmas Lights Cruise
The Christmas Lights Cruise is an annual event led by the Fisherman’s Wharf Mariners. For those who wish to participate, we are welcome to decorate our vessels and join in the floating light parade.
We now have 20 people attending, but there’s still room for you, so please confirm your attendance by contacting Paula Scott, your Social Committee Lead, at paulamayscott1962@gmail.com by Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the latest!
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, December 10, 2022
Time: Boats can dock at our Clubhouse at 5:00.
The boats from Fisherman’s Wharf will be at The Ladysmith Marina at 5:30 and start the cruise at 6:00.
Monitor: Channel 78a
Route: The vessels will go to Transfer Beach, where there will be a town campfire celebration. Then they will go as far as Boulder Point, just beyond Lagoon Bridge and return to Fisherman’s Wharf. LYC vessels can participate in part or all of this route.
At the LYC Clubhouse: LYC vessels can tie up at our Clubhouse or return to their berths, then join us for appies and celebrate with Christmas Cheer. The Bar will be open, LYC will provide a veggie and fruit tray. Please bring your favourite Christmas appie!
